Tom Rannelli
Tom Rannelli P.Eng. is a highly experienced mining professional with a diverse background spanning nearly two decades in the industry. Holding a degree in Engineering, he has contributed to numerous significant mining projects across Canada and the United States, including sites in Northern Ontario and Nevada focusing on gold extraction, diamond mines in the Northwest Territories, and base metal operations in Manitoba and the Yukon. His technical expertise encompasses various aspects of underground mining, from shaft maintenance and infrastructure development to mine rehabilitation and blast design. He is experienced in underground mining methods like cut and fill, raise mining, and large excavations, and is well-versed in cost control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
Throughout his career, Thomas has demonstrated strong leadership capabilities in managing complex projects and driving business growth. He has experience in operations management, business development, project management, and engineering across various segments of the mining sector, including repair services, drilling services, and underground construction. His proven track record showcases his ability to deliver successful outcomes in challenging environments, combining technical proficiency with strong leadership and business acumen, consistently exceeding expectations in demanding and dynamic roles.

Kevin Norberg
Kevin Norberg is a mining industry leader with nearly 20 years’ experience in drilling and exploration. As President of Rodren Drilling and Owner of 518 Drilling, and Co-Founder and Director of Critical Discoveries Kevin has transitioned from hands‑on program management to structuring joint ventures, negotiating funding arrangements, and securing strategic partnerships that accelerate project timelines. His track record managing exploration programs in complex jurisdictions, combined with deep operational knowledge, enables him to assess project risk, craft investment-ready business cases, and close transactions that align technical merit with commercial returns.
Kevin’s foundation in agriculture and 16 years working within some of the largest global drilling firms underpin a pragmatic, results-driven approach to capital development and stakeholder engagement. He leverages expertise in safety management systems, operational oversight and continuous improvement to de‑risk investments and improve project bankability. Skilled in building cross-functional teams and engaging with investors, Indigenous partners and regulatory stakeholders, Kevin focuses on delivering financings and deals that support sustainable project advancement and long‑term value creation.

John Renaud
John Renaud is a highly experienced senior leader specializing in operational management and health & safety within the mining and construction industries. With over 30 years of extensive hands-on experience, he has demonstrated a proven ability to lead underground and surface mining operations, major capital projects, and international projects through all phases—from construction and commissioning to full-scale production. John’s expertise supports diverse teams, including engineering, operations, and contractors, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, incident reduction, and fostering a safety-first culture. His leadership is characterized by a strategic approach to critical risk management, resource planning, and continuous improvement, making him a trusted figure in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
Throughout his career, John has held a variety of pivotal roles—from Senior Health & Safety Manager to Mine Captain and General Superintendent—across some of the industry’s most notable projects in Canada and internationally. His operational experience includes supervising underground crews, managing budgets and manpower, and coordinating complex technical activities, all while maintaining a sharp focus on safety and productivity. John’s background also encompasses development of safety systems, regulatory reporting, incident investigation, and emergency response, notably serving as Mine Rescue Incident Commander. Bilingual in English and French, with extensive regulatory knowledge and Mine Rescue leadership, John’s holistic approach to operations management continues to drive cultural change and operational excellence within the organizations he supports.
